What are the key elements that are mounted onto material handling equipment at a height?

WARNING: HoistCam cameras and accessories (including antenna kits) should never be installed higher than 3 feet (1 meter) above ground without both a primary and secondary "touch point" installed. Failure to do so may cause serious injury, death or damage to equipment including voiding of all warranties.  Please consult a HoistCam technician and the user manual for additional information.

A number of various components are used with HoistCam and may be installed at a particular height.  Each element should be installed so that there is a primary and secondary means of securing the object a piece of material handling equipment such as a crane.  

The list below indicates the objects used to secure HoistCam to a crane's surface including the primary and secondary "touch points".  Tests should always be conducted on surfaces (i.e. magnetic surfaces) and attach points to ensure that the primary and secondary attachment do not experience failure.  

Single Antenna is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: One 90lb magnet on the antenna along with the antenna cabling secured to the structure of the boom or equipment

- Secondary: Zip ties to secure cabling and antenna to the length of the boom or surface

Dual Antenna is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: One 90lb magnet on each antenna along with the antenna cabling secured to the structure of the boom or equipment

- Secondary: Zip ties to secure cabling and antenna to the length of the boom or surface

Luffing Boom Antenna is secured by, attached and composed of 3 touch points:

- Primary: Two 90lb magnets

- Secondary: Bolt, D-ring clip, safety lanyard with carabiner and insert into antenna

- Secondary:  Zip ties to secure cabling to the length of the boom or equipment

- Tertiary: N-Type cable connector to right angle connector

HD147 HoistCam VTB is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: Four 90lb magnets

- Secondary: Handle, safety lanyard with carabiner, two pins and plastic on enclosure

HD147 ball camera is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: One 90lb magnet

- Secondary: One Lake cable with Deutsch connectors connect to VTB

- Tertiary: One D-ring cable management magnet with D-ring clip and bolt

HD187 is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: Four 90lb magnets

- Secondary: Handle, safety lanyard with carabiner, two pins and plastic on enclosure

HD197 is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: Four 90lb magnets

- Secondary: Handle, safety lanyard with carabiner, two pins and plastic on enclosure

External battery pack is secured by, attached and composed of 2 touch points:

- Primary: Four 90lb magnets

- Secondary:  Handle, safety lanyard with carabiner, two pins and plastic on enclosure
